# Importing Assets to Hana

Hana lets you import external assets to enhance your designs. You can bring in **SVG files** directly from tools such as Figma or Illustrator as vector shapes, or **images** and **videos** to use as backgrounds, textures, or UI elements.

* Drag and drop **SVGs** directly onto the canvas to preserve their vector quality, resulting in sharp, editable shapes.
* Drag and drop or upload **images** (**PNG** or **JPEG**) from a Fill layer.
* Drag and drop or upload **videos** (**.mp4** format) from a Fill layer.

These assets integrate seamlessly with your design workflow, giving you greater flexibility and creative control. Add Stroke, Effects, Modifiers, or Events and States to add motion and interactivity.
