# Pages in Hana

Pages help you organize your work inside a single Hana file. You can separate different screens, flows, or explorations into their own pages, keeping complex projects easier to navigate and maintain.

### Accessing Pages

You can manage pages from the **left sidebar** of the canvas:

* The **Pages** section lists all pages in your file.
* The **current page** is highlighted and marked with a check.
* Switching between pages updates the canvas to show only the content for that page.

### Creating and Managing Pages

You can create and manage pages directly from the Pages section:

* **Create a new page:**
  Click the **+** button next to **Pages**. A new page will be added to the list.
* **Rename a page:**
  Double-click a page name in the list and type a new name.
* **Duplicate a page:**
  Right-click a page in the list and choose **Duplicate**
* **Delete a page:**
  Right-click a page and select **Delete** to remove it from the file.

### Reordering Pages

You can reorder pages to match your workflow:

* Click and **drag a page** in the list to move it up or down.
* The order in the Pages list can reflect for example your user flow, priorities, or design phases etc.

### How to Use Pages Effectively

Here are some common ways to use pages in Hana:

* **Organize flows:** Keep different parts of your experience on separate pages (e.g. *Landing*, *Onboarding*, *Dashboard*).
* **Explore ideas:** Use new pages for alternate layouts, style explorations, or experiments without affecting your main designs.
* **Separate platforms or variants:** Create one page per platform or variation (e.g. *Desktop*, *Tablet*, *Mobile*).
* **Archive older work:** Move older iterations to a dedicated page to keep your active pages focused and light.

Using Pages helps keep your files tidy, improves navigation, and makes it easier to collaborate with others on larger projects.
