Working with Text

On Spline, text behaves as a 2D object in the 3D space (like a Rectangle). Meaning it can be moved and rotated in the X, Y, and Z axes.

To create text, press the "T" icon on the Toolbar, and then click and drag on the Viewport.

You can also change the text parameters from the Text panel, like this:

Turning your 2D text into a 3D object is possible by going into the font panel and pressing the "Convert to Shape" button.

This will turn your text into individual vector shapes that you can easily turn into 3D objects by adding extrusion on the Shape Panel.
